GI-Focused PRN CRNA Role in North Phoenix with No Call or Weekends

Job Description

North Valley Endoscopy Center in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join an established GI-only ambulatory team. This is a CRNA-only model with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities, offering excellent work–life balance while providing safe, efficient anesthesia care for outpatient endoscopy patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and review patient health histories
• Develop and administer individualized sedation and anesthesia plans for GI procedures
• Manage and monitor airway and hemodynamics throughout each case
• Oversee patient recovery and ensure a safe, smooth transition to discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ASC staff to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Professional liability (malpractice) insurance covered for 1099 anesthesia providers
• Competitive PRN compensation (rate discussed directly with AMSURG)

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and active Arizona licensure (or eligibility)
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Comfort working independently in a CRNA-only GI setting
• Strong skills in MAC and moderate to deep sedation and airway management

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday schedule; PRN as-needed coverage
• No nights, no call, and no weekend shifts
• GI-only caseload in an outpatient endoscopy center
• Part of a large national network of over 700 anesthesia providers with AMSURG
