Job Description
Concord Eye Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to join our all-CRNA care team for outpatient ophthalmic procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. This is a high-autonomy role with no MD supervision, no call, and no weekends. Enjoy flexible PRN scheduling and guaranteed 8-hour pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-op assessments and chart reviews one week prior to surgery
- Develop individualized anesthesia plans and obtain informed consent
- Administer anesthesia for cataract, cornea, glaucoma, retina, and oculoplastic procedures
- Monitor vitals and manage airways as needed
- Oversee post-anesthesia care and patient education
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical team members
- Ensure proper equipment functioning and adherence to safety protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily pay: $1,600–$1,800 (guaranteed 0700–1600 coverage)
- 1099 independent contractor
- 4–8 shifts/month, PRN schedule
- No call, nights, weekends, or holidays
- Overtime available for add-on emergency cases
Job Requirements
- Active RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Experience with ophthalmic procedures and pediatric patients (age 2+ preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a high-paced setting
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN role with 4–8 shifts/month
- Monday–Friday, 0700–1600 with occasional overtime
- Busy two-OR ophthalmic ambulatory surgery center
- No weekends, holidays, or call required
