Job Description

Planned Parenthood in Portland, Oregon is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide autonomous anesthesia care in an outpatient surgical setting. This role is ideal for providers seeking flexible, part-time work with predictable late-morning start times and no call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous anesthesia care for MAC-only cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and intraoperative monitoring
• Manage anesthesia for outpatient obstetric-related procedures
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and smooth recovery
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Paid malpractice coverage provided by the organization
• Overtime paid for hours worked beyond 40 per week

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN / part-time coverage needed
• Tuesday through Friday availability
• Cases start at 9:00 AM and typically conclude mid-afternoon
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Autonomous CRNA-only practice

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification
• Active Oregon CRNA license
• Current ACLS certification
• Comfort working independently in an outpatient setting
