Chicago Autonomous PRN CRNA Role in Aesthetic Surgery

Job Overview

We need an experienced and motivated CRNA to join a CRNA-owned private practice providing anesthesia services for a high-volume aesthetic plastic surgery group based in Chicago, Illinois. This PRN opportunity is ideal for CRNAs seeking professional autonomy, predictable outpatient work, and exposure to a modern, office-based surgical environment focused exclusively on elective cosmetic procedures.

The group has more than eight years of operational success and continues to expand its national footprint. CRNAs in this practice are trusted to work independently, manage the full anesthesia continuum, and collaborate closely with surgical teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Clinical Practice & Case Mix

You will provide anesthesia services for an ASA I–II patient population undergoing elective cosmetic procedures under general anesthesia. Case types include:

• Breast augmentation
• Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)
• Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
• Liposuction
• Additional aesthetic surgical procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care in an office-based surgical setting
• Perform thorough preoperative assessments and anesthesia planning
• Independently manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Continuously monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and clinical staff to optimize outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and safety standards

Practice Model & Schedule

• Practice model: Fully autonomous CRNA practice
• Setting: Office-based outpatient aesthetic surgery
• Employment type: PRN (full-time or part-time availability considered)
• No call, no nights, no weekends

Compensation

• Daily rate: $2,200 per day
• Employment status: 1099 independent contractor
• Consistent, high-volume surgical schedule

Qualifications

• Current NBCRNA certification in good standing
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eligibility for or willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
• Comfort practicing independently in an outpatient setting
• Experience with cosmetic or surgical anesthesia preferred
• New graduates considered
