Eye Surgery Center of Wisconsin is seeking CRNAs for PRN or full-time opportunities in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This position focuses primarily on cataract procedures with light MAC anesthesia in a highly efficient outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient ophthalmology procedures
• Administer primarily MAC anesthesia for cataract surgeries
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and patient assessments
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
• Support occasional oculoplastic and rare general anesthesia cases
• Ensure safe and efficient case flow in a high-volume ASC setting
• Complete paper charting documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor position
• $200 per hour compensation
• Guaranteed 8 hours for full-day shifts
• Guaranteed 5 hours for half-day shifts
• Daily pay range approximately $1,000 – $1,600
• Flexible schedule — work as much or as little as desired

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• NBCRNA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS not required
• Subspecialty fellowship not required
• New graduates welcome to apply

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN or full-time options available
• OR start time 7:30 AM, typically finished by 3:30 PM
• No first call responsibilities
• No second call responsibilities
• CRNA-only independent practice model
• Outpatient surgery center setting
• Primarily cataracts with some oculoplastics and occasional general cases
• Full emergency setup including anesthesia machine, McGrath, and i-gels
• RNs assist with patient transport and monitoring setup
• Well-respected by surgeons and staff
