Job Description

WVU Medicine – United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia is seeking PRN CRNAs to join a well-established hospital-employed anesthesia group. This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs seeking a flexible, low-complexity practice environment without the demands of cardiac, neuro, or sick pediatric cases. The hospital operates under a care team model and offers a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.

As a PRN (OPT) provider, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month while remaining an active member of the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia services under a collaborative care team model
• Perform a variety of bread-and-butter cases; no hearts, heads, or sick peds
• Participate in scheduled shifts and/or cover endoscopy suites as needed
• Maintain clinical competency with a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month

Compensation & Benefits

• Flexible PRN scheduling (OPT status)
• Separate endoscopy suite opportunity available
• Work in a 300-bed, nonprofit hospital with 15 ORs and 5 endoscopy suites
• Two “bye” months per 12-month period for PRN providers

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible to practice in West Virginia
• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain PRN status with minimum shift requirement

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN (W-2) employment
• Flexible schedule with minimum of one 8-hour shift per month
• 15 ORs and 5 endoscopy suites
• Care team model; no call for PRN role
