CRNA – PRN Outpatient Surgery Center – Columbia Gorge

Job Description

Columbia Gorge Surgery Center, an independent ASC in the Columbia River Gorge, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Up to 12 weekday shifts per month are available. This position offers a supportive team environment, efficient case flow, and the benefit of no call, nights, or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent.
• Administer general and regional anesthesia independently.
• Monitor and manage patients throughout procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Adhere to ASC policies and established clinical protocols.

Compensation & Benefits

• Daily rate: $1,600 (1099 contractor position).
• Up to 12 weekday shifts per month available.
• No call, nights, holidays, or weekends.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certified CRNA.
• Current RN and CRNA licenses in Oregon and/or Washington (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred; ASC/outpatient experience ideal.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment.

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN schedule with weekday shifts only.
• No first call responsibilities.
• Independent ASC specializing in Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Ophthalmology.
• Collegial team atmosphere with efficient case flow.
