Job Description

Gastro Health is seeking per-diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its outpatient endoscopy teams serving the Woodbridge and Manassas, Virginia locations. This role is based in a CRNA-only model and focuses exclusively on office-based anesthesia for GI endoscopic procedures.

CRNAs in this position provide autonomous anesthesia care while working alongside experienced gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and dedicated support teams. The centers operate on a predictable weekday schedule designed for efficiency, patient safety, and a reasonable daily case volume, making this an excellent option for CRNAs prioritizing work-life balance.

Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for GI endoscopic procedures in an ASC setting
• Conduct pre-procedure patient assessments and develop anesthetic plans
• Monitor patients during procedures and through recovery
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to support efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• $180 per hour compensation
• Eight-hour guaranteed shifts
• Up to $1,400 per day
• Company-paid malpractice insurance
• 1099 independent contractor position

Job Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesiology
• Current CRNA licensure and ACLS certification
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to practice independently in an office-based anesthesia setting
• Strong communication skills and sound clinical judgment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Per-diem schedule with weekday coverage only
• Office-based anesthesia in outpatient endoscopy centers
• No first or second call responsibilities
• Predictable day-shift hours (approximately 7:15am–4:00pm)
