Job Description

The Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii and Pacific Endoscopy Center are seeking skilled CRNAs for PRN coverage in Honolulu and Pearl City. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient environment with no call requirements and a consistent caseload of GI cases. Flexible scheduling and island living make this a highly desirable assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer MAC sedation (Propofol only) for GI procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and EUS.
• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in an outpatient setting without anesthesiologist supervision.
• Collaborate with CRNA colleagues and GI staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation in gMED EMR system.

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 PRN rate: $150/hour.
• No call requirements – centers are closed on major holidays.
• Flexible scheduling with weekday and optional Saturday shifts.
• Independent CRNA practice model with team-based collaboration.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification as a CRNA.
• Active Hawaii CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Prior GI/endoscopy anesthesia experience preferred.
• Strong independent practice and clinical decision-making skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Honolulu: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm; occasional Saturdays available. 2 ORs, 10–15 cases/day.
• Pearl City: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm; Saturdays PRN. 2-room center, 25–30 cases/day across 2 CRNAs.
• Outpatient ASC setting with supportive, fast-paced environment.
• Independent CRNA-led practice, no anesthesiologist supervision.
