High-Autonomy Dental Anesthesia CRNA Role in Knoxville

Job Description

Lincoln Healthcare is seeking a PRN CRNA to support a modern dental implant center in Knoxville, delivering independent anesthesia care with predictable hours, low patient volume, and a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule. This role is ideal for CRNAs who enjoy precision, autonomy, and outpatient clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for dental implant and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized care plans
• Administer anesthetic agents including propofol, fentanyl, midazolam, and ketamine
• Manage airway and monitor patient stability throughout procedures
• Guide patients through anesthesia expectations and post-care
• Work independently while collaborating with surgical and dental teams

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor
• $200–$225 per hour
• Guaranteed 6–8 hour workdays, Monday–Thursday
• Low daily volume: 2–3 patients per day
• No call, no nights, no weekends

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year CRNA experience with open airway sedation
• Experience in dental anesthesia or oral/maxillofacial surgery required
• Malpractice insurance coverage of at least $1M / $3M

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Thursday daytime schedule
• 6–8 hour predictable shifts
