Independent CRNA Coverage for Plastics & Bariatrics – Greater Orlando
Job Description
This PRN opportunity in the Greater Orlando area offers independent anesthesia practice for outpatient plastic surgery, bariatric, and select eye/surgery cases. The role is ideal for CRNAs confident in delivering solo anesthesia care in an office or surgery center setting. Providers must be able to manage the full perioperative process, from patient assessment to safe emergence and recovery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care for plastics, bariatrics, and eye/surgery procedures.
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and ensure patients are appropriately optimized.
- Administer general anesthesia without supervision in an outpatient environment.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage postoperative emergence.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all anesthesia services.
Compensation & Benefits
- $195/hour for plastics and bariatric cases
- $175/hour for eye/surgery cases
- Daily minimum: $1,200 per day
- Employment Type: 1099
- Flexible PRN scheduling with immediate availability
Job Requirements
- Ability to work fully independently without physician supervision
- Experience with general anesthesia in outpatient surgery settings
- Active malpractice insurance (required)
- Current CRNA licensure in the state of Florida
