Job Description

Digestive Health Center is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work as a 1099 independent contractor with a private GI group in Reno, Nevada. This role focuses on low-acuity endoscopy patients in an ambulatory surgery center environment, offering excellent work-life balance and the chance to join an elite, patient-centered anesthesia team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for GI procedures at Digestive Health Center
• Perform thorough preoperative evaluations and develop appropriate anesthetic plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic status and airway as needed
• Provide safe postoperative care and evaluation to support positive outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ASC staff to maintain high-quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,500 per day, 1099 independent contractor
• Pay based on contracted daily rate or potential full-time employment structure
• Signing bonus negotiable (details discussed during interview)

Job Requirements

• Current and active Nevada CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• Experience providing anesthesia in an ASC or outpatient setting preferred
• Ability to manage low-acuity GI patients independently and safely

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday work schedule
• No call and no weekends
• All cases performed in an AAAHC-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Private GI practice focused on efficiency, safety, and patient experience
