ME PRN CRNA — Office-Based Dental Anesthesia (2 Days/Month, Wed–Thu)

Job Description

Outpatient dental practice in Bangor is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide office-based anesthesia on a predictable, light schedule. Ideal for an independent CRNA who enjoys a tight-knit, efficient team and a friendly, low-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide MAC/IV sedation for adult dental procedures in an office setting.
• Perform pre-op assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and recovery handoff.
• Support safe room turnover and maintain accurate documentation.

Schedule & Setting

• PRN 1099 engagement — approximately 2 days per month (Wednesdays & Thursdays preferred).
• Orientation available on 10/15 & 10/16 (optional, on-site).
• Additional pediatric days available at sites in Bangor (every other Tuesday preferred) and Ellsworth (one day/month) — scheduling is flexible.
• Equipment setup and turnover are streamlined; supportive PACU staff on site.

Compensation

• Competitive market rates (discussed directly with the site).

Qualifications

• NBCRNA-certified CRNA with active Maine license (or eligibility).
• Comfortable practicing independently in an office-based environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient-focused care.
