OB CRNA – Reston – $4500 Per Shift – 24 Hour Schedule

Job Description

A private anesthesia group in Reston, Virginia is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN or full-time role specializing in obstetric anesthesia. This position is centered around a low-volume OB service, offering a steady and controlled clinical pace.

The CRNA will work within a medical direction model alongside anesthesiologists, covering 24-hour shifts. This role is well-suited for experienced OB providers looking for strong compensation, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for obstetric cases including labor and delivery
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and planning
• Administer epidurals and manage labor analgesia
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during procedures
• Respond to urgent and emergent OB anesthesia situations
• Work collaboratively with OB physicians, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff
• Ensure proper post-anesthesia recovery and documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• $4,500 per 24-hour shift
• $190/hour PRN compensation
• $250,000 annual salary for full-time providers

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active or eligible Virginia licensure
• NBCRNA certification required

• Excellent communication and clinical skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN and full-time options available
• Approximately 6–7 24-hour shifts per month
• Low-volume OB service with predictable workflow

• No second call duties
• Guaranteed post-call day off
