Outpatient CRNA Role at Azura Vascular Care – No Nights, No Weekends!

Job Description

Azura Vascular Care, a national leader in minimally invasive vascular care and a division of Fresenius Medical Care, is seeking a PRN CRNA for its outpatient center in Cary, North Carolina. This role offers a predictable lifestyle with no nights, weekends, or call, while working in a state-of-the-art ambulatory vascular facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and document pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
• Order and review diagnostic/laboratory studies (per state law)
• Obtain informed consent for anesthesia services
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
• Select and administer anesthetic agents, adjunct medications, and fluids
• Manage invasive and non-invasive monitoring equipment
• Perform full airway management, including fiberoptic intubation
• Monitor and document physiological status throughout procedures
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia
• Provide acute and chronic pain management modalities
• Place and manage vascular access devices (per privileges)
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Respond to and manage emergency situations
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• $800 per day
• W-2 employment
• No call, no nights, no weekends

Job Requirements

• Graduate of a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current state licensure and compliance with state CRNA regulations
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NBCRNA certification or recertification
• Malpractice insurability
• 8–12 years related experience preferred; at least 5 years CRNA experience recommended
• Ability to demonstrate full-scope CRNA practice in an outpatient environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Outpatient surgery center environment
• Daytime hours only
• Travel between centers may be required (10–15%)
• No nights, weekends, or on-call duties
