Job Description

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, part of RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking board-certified CRNAs for per diem opportunities in New Brunswick, NJ. As a CRNA here, you’ll practice at a nationally recognized academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center with exposure to complex cases, advanced technology, and opportunities to participate in teaching and mentorship through our partnership with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
• Deliver peri-anesthetic support functions and collaborate closely with the surgical and perioperative team.
• Participate in educational and mentorship opportunities as part of a leading academic medical system.

Compensation & Benefits

• $180 per hour for weekday day shifts
• $190 per hour for weekday nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Master’s degree minimum)
• Board-certified CRNA with active CDS and DEA licenses
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care

• Per diem – flexible scheduling based on facility needs
• No call requirements
