PRN 1099 CRNA – Multi-Specialty ASC Coverage / No Weekends in Kansas City Metro

Guardian Anesthesia Services is expanding and seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its growing multi-specialty anesthesia team on a PRN basis. This 1099 opportunity is ideal for CRNAs looking for flexible, weekday-only work in outpatient surgical settings throughout the Kansas City metro area, including both Kansas and Missouri locations.

CRNAs in this role will collaborate with experienced surgical and anesthesia teams across multiple ambulatory surgery centers. The practice provides coverage for a diverse but controlled outpatient case mix, including ophthalmology, gastrointestinal procedures, pain management, orthopedics with regional anesthesia, dental cases, and oculoplastics. Eye surgery cases may occasionally require peribulbar blocks, and orthopedic cases may involve regional techniques depending on facility needs.

This position offers consistent day-shift scheduling with no weekend, night, or call requirements, making it well-suited for CRNAs prioritizing work-life balance or supplementing an existing position. While outpatient anesthesia experience is preferred, it is not required, and the group is open to CRNAs with varying backgrounds who are comfortable adapting across ASC environments. Guardian Anesthesia Services is actively expanding, creating ongoing opportunities for both permanent part-time and PRN coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in ambulatory surgery center settings
• Deliver care for eye surgery, GI, pain management, orthopedic, dental, and oculoplastics cases
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques as indicated by case type
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and manage intraoperative anesthesia care
• Ensure patient safety and efficient case flow in outpatient environments

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN and permanent part-time opportunities available
• Day shifts only
• No weekends, no nights, no call
• Multiple surgery center locations across Kansas and Missouri
• Collaborative, team-based practice model

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification required
• Active Kansas CRNA license required; Missouri license preferred but not mandatory
• Current ACLS and PALS required
• Comfort working in outpatient anesthesia settings
• New graduates considered on a case-by-case basis
