Job Description

Center for Colon and Digestive Diseases is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for an immediate-start PRN assignment at an outpatient gastroenterology ambulatory surgery center in Aiken, South Carolina. This opportunity is designed for an experienced CRNA who prefers predictable weekday coverage, efficient case flow, and a focused GI-only environment. The center is in urgent need of coverage and is offering a straightforward weekly compensation structure with prompt payment.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role providing anesthesia services for outpatient endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. The schedule is four days per week with 8–9 hour shifts each day, creating a consistent weekly routine without call responsibilities. There are no weekends, no nights, and no holiday requirements. The clinical work is dedicated to GI cases only, which supports a streamlined workflow and reduced variability compared with broader ASC case mixes.

Compensation is offered as a flat $6,000 per week for the four-day schedule, and the facility pays weekly. Because the role is independent practice with no medical direction, the ideal candidate is confident managing cases autonomously while maintaining strong communication and steady throughput in a busy outpatient setting. Malpractice coverage is negotiable based on the final agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
• Complete pre-anesthesia evaluations and confirm patient readiness for sedation/anesthesia
• Induce, maintain, and safely transition patients through recovery per facility protocols
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Document anesthesia care accurately and maintain compliance with ASC standards

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification required
• Active South Carolina CRNA license required
• ACLS required
• PALS not required
• New graduates not accepted
