PRN CRNA Coverage for Outpatient Endoscopy Center – Delaware

Job Description

This PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity supports a high-volume outpatient endoscopy center in northern Delaware. The assignment is designed for CRNAs seeking per diem flexibility with consistent weekday scheduling, independent practice, and a focused GI case mix. Providers manage their own rooms and perform all preoperative assessments, offering a streamlined clinical workflow without inpatient responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for upper and lower endoscopy procedures
• Perform complete pre-anesthesia evaluations and patient assessments
• Independently manage assigned procedure rooms
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout GI cases
• Ensure safe emergence and transition to recovery
• Complete accurate and timely anesthesia documentation

Clinical Scope & Practice Setting

• Outpatient endoscopy center environment
• Upper GI and lower GI procedures
• Independent CRNA practice model
• No inpatient coverage
• No operating room or surgical service crossover

Schedule & Coverage Details

• PRN / per diem coverage
• Monday through Friday availability
• Guaranteed 8-hour workdays
• No call responsibilities
• No weekends
• Predictable daytime workflow

Compensation & Engagement

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Daily mileage reimbursement provided
• Malpractice insurance provided at no cost
• Credentialing support fully managed by National Anesthesia
• Estimated credentialing timeline of approximately 60 days

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA certification through NBCRNA
• Eligibility for Delaware licensure
• Comfort practicing independently in an outpatient GI setting
• Experience with endoscopy anesthesia preferred
• Strong preoperative assessment and patient communication skills
