PRN CRNA for Office-Based Pain Management – Tucson

Job Description

This PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position supports an established office-based pain management practice in Tucson, Arizona. The role is structured for CRNAs seeking predictable, low-acuity outpatient work with full clinical autonomy. Coverage is needed two Thursdays per month, with a consistent short-day schedule and an 8-hour guaranteed daily rate. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CRNAs or those seeking part-time supplemental income without call, weekends, or hospital responsibilities.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for interventional pain management procedures
• Administer propofol or Versed/Fentanyl sedation
• Support nerve blocks, RFAs, and interventional pain injections
• Perform independent pre-procedure assessments
• Monitor patients throughout sedation and recovery
• Document anesthesia care accurately and completely

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• Office-based pain management clinic
• Independent CRNA practice model
• No advanced pain procedures
• No surgical cases
• No inpatient or hospital coverage
• Sedation-only cases for interventional pain procedures

Schedule & Coverage Details

• PRN / part-time position
• Two Thursdays per month
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Paid 8-hour daily guarantee regardless of early finish
• No call responsibilities
• No nights or weekends

Compensation Structure

• $200 per hour
• 8-hour guaranteed daily pay
• 1099 independent contractor position
• No sign-on bonus
• Malpractice coverage not provided

Job Requirements

• Active Arizona CRNA license required
• ACLS certification required
• Comfort with independent office-based practice
• Experience with procedural sedation preferred
• New graduates considered on a conditional basis
