Job Description

Azura Vascular Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care and a national leader in vascular specialty services, is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for its outpatient surgery center in Fairfield, CT. This role offers excellent work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
• Select, administer, and manage anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids
• Administer anesthesia and sedation, ensuring patient safety during procedures
• Perform intraoperative monitoring and peri-anesthetic care
• Manage recovery and discharge in post-anesthesia settings
• Implement pain management strategies, including regional and interventional procedures
• Provide emergency stabilization as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and comply with quality and safety standards

Compensation & Benefits

• Daily Rate: $1,100–$1,800 per day
• Hourly Range: $150–$250/hr (Fairfield, CT)
• W-2 employment with key benefits

• No nights, weekends, or call

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current state licensure and compliance with statutory requirements
• NBCRNA certification or recertification
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 5+ years of CRNA experience preferred (minimum 8–12 years related experience or equivalent)
• Proficiency with anesthesia equipment and infection control practices
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN position in an outpatient surgery center
• No call, nights, or weekends
• Typical ASC-based schedule with flexibility
• Healthcare facility environment with standard safety protocols
