PRN CRNA – Mid-South Endoscopy Center

Job Description

Mid-South Endoscopy Center, an AMSURG-managed GI center in Columbia, Tennessee, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join an established outpatient anesthesia team. This role focuses on GI anesthesia in a surgery center environment with an emphasis on patient safety, efficiency, and work-life balance. The position offers daytime-only coverage with no call, nights, or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments and chart review
• Administer individualized sedation plans for GI procedures
• Manage and monitor airway and patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Supervise patient recovery following anesthesia
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols
• Document anesthesia care accurately and completely

• PRN, 1099 position

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee RN and CRNA licensure
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of two years of experience as a CRNA
• Strong ethical standards and basic computer skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN coverage, approximately 1–2 days per week
• Monday–Friday operations
• Outpatient GI surgery center setting
