Job Description
PRN CRNA position at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, a flagship regional facility offering a broad case mix, modern surgical technology, and a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Verify informed consent
- Discuss anesthetic plans, risks, and options
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
- Continuously monitor patient physiology
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- W-2 PRN rate: $170/hour
- 1099 rate: $180/hour
- Malpractice covered (W-2)
- Access to NAPA leadership, development, and support programs
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- NBCRNA certified or recertified
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN scheduling
- Varied shift options available
- Case mix includes general, ortho, cardiac, pediatrics, OB, and more
- Teaching hospital environment with advanced technology
