Job Description
Merritt Island Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN opportunity in an outpatient surgery center setting in Merritt Island, Florida. This position is scheduled for one day per week on Mondays and includes an eight-hour guaranteed shift.
CRNAs in this role will provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures while practicing under the medical direction of a physician anesthesiologist. This opportunity is well suited for CRNAs seeking a predictable weekly commitment in a low-acuity, ambulatory environment.
Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures

Compensation & Benefits
- PRN 1099 independent contractor position
- Eight-hour guaranteed workday
- No call responsibilities
- No nights, weekends, or holiday coverage beyond scheduled day
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification through the NBCRNA
- Active Florida CRNA license
- Ability to work under medical direction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Eligibility to meet surgery center credentialing requirements
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN schedule with coverage one day per week
- Monday-only assignment
- Ambulatory surgery center setting
- No first or second call responsibilities
