Multiple outpatient eye surgery centers in the Phoenix, Arizona area are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for ongoing PRN locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers a focused outpatient practice, predictable daytime scheduling, and an autonomous CRNA-only model supported by experienced surgical and nursing teams.

This assignment is ideal for CRNAs who enjoy ophthalmologic anesthesia and prefer a streamlined, low-acuity outpatient environment. Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis, with most clinical days running from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., though some days may be slightly shorter or longer depending on case volume. All centers operate with well-organized workflows and support staff, allowing CRNAs to concentrate on patient care without hospital-based complexities.

The practice model is CRNA-only, offering full clinical autonomy in the delivery of anesthesia care. Prior experience with ophthalmology cases is preferred, and familiarity with peribulbar blocks is highly desirable. Compensation is competitive and includes a guaranteed eight-hour day, regardless of daily case length. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient ophthalmologic procedures
