PRN CRNA Opportunity in Arizona – Independent Pediatric & Adult Dental Anesthesia
Job Description
A national private practice group is seeking Arizona-licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for immediate PRN coverage at outpatient dental surgery centers across Arizona. This role focuses on pediatric (teens) and adult dental extraction cases in an independent CRNA-only model. Daily PRN assignments are available with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.
Practice Environment
This is an outpatient dental surgery center setting with no medical direction. CRNAs practice independently and administer their own induction agents. The practice offers flexible PRN coverage throughout the week with occasional Saturday assignments. Malpractice coverage is available.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- Pediatric anesthesia (primarily teens)
- Adult dental extraction cases
- Outpatient anesthesia exclusively
- No orthopedic, regional, or acute pain service cases
Schedule & Workload
- PRN position
- Daily PRN assignments available
- Flexible weekdays throughout the week
- Occasional Saturday coverage
- No call responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Independent provision of anesthesia services
- Administration of induction and maintenance anesthesia
- Airway management appropriate for dental surgery
- Intraoperative monitoring and postoperative handoff
- Adherence to outpatient safety and recovery protocols
Compensation & Employment Structure
- PRN compensation starting at $1,700 per day
- Employment model: 1099
- Weekly pay to provider
- Malpractice coverage available (claims-made with tail)
Candidate Requirements
- Active Arizona CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Comfort with pediatric and adult dental anesthesia
- Background free and clear of issues
