PRN CRNA Opportunity – Office-Based Anesthesia | Milwaukee Metro

Job Description

This PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opportunity is offered by a private CRNA-led practice providing office-based anesthesia services throughout the Milwaukee Metro area. The role is designed for experienced CRNAs who prefer autonomous practice, consistent daytime scheduling, and high hourly compensation without call or weekend obligations.

The practice specializes in adult dental/oral surgery and adult ENT procedures, delivering anesthesia services in efficient outpatient office settings. This position is ideal for clinicians comfortable working independently, managing their own anesthetics, and traveling to nearby facilities outside the immediate Milwaukee Metro area on select days.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent office-based anesthesia services for adult patients
• Manage airway and anesthetic plans for dental/oral surgery and ENT procedures
• Perform nasal intubations when required for dental or ENT cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-procedure patient transitions
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and compliance standards
• Collaborate directly with procedural teams in office-based environments

Clinical Case Mix

• Adult dental and oral surgery cases
• Adult ENT procedures
• Office-based anesthesia only

Schedule & Coverage Details

• PRN position with immediate start availability
• Flexible scheduling: approximately 2–5 days per week
• 8-hour daily minimum guarantee
• No call responsibilities
• No weekends, evenings, or overnight shifts

Practice Model & Work Environment

• Independent CRNA-only practice model
• No medical direction or supervision
• Office-based anesthesia settings
• Comfort with autonomous decision-making required
• Some travel outside the Milwaukee Metro area expected

Compensation & Coverage

• $250 per hour compensation
• $2,000–$2,300 per day depending on schedule
• 1099 independent contractor position
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Coverage limits: $1M / $3M

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 4 years independent CRNA experience required
• Comfort with nasal intubation and dental anesthesia preferred
• Agency submissions will not be considered
