PRN CRNA Opportunity – Southwestern Eye Center – Sierra Vista

Job Description

This PRN CRNA role at Southwestern Eye Center offers a predictable, low-stress schedule working alternating Mondays and Tuesdays with no weekends, no holidays, and no call. As part of American Vision Partners—one of the largest ophthalmology networks in the country—you will provide anesthesia services for ophthalmic procedures in a supportive, highly specialized surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ophthalmic anesthesia using techniques such as peribulbar, retrobulbar, topical, local infiltration, and IV sedation.
• Develop individualized anesthetic care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments.
• Provide safe anesthesia care in both pre-operative and operative settings.
• Participate in peri-operative planning alongside surgeons and nursing staff.
• Assist with or manage clinical emergencies when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, complete anesthesia documentation.
• Report supply needs to ensure a well-stocked anesthesia environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 PRN position

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and accredited anesthesia program
• Active Arizona RN license
• Current NBCRNA certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience or strong skills in peri-orbital anesthesia preferred
• Knowledge of IV sedation techniques
• Strong communication, decision-making, and clinical judgment abilities
