PRN CRNA – Outpatient Hand Surgery Centers (Metro Atlanta)

Job Description

Perimeter Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a PRN or part-time role supporting outpatient hand surgery centers across the Metro Atlanta area. Coverage is primarily needed at facilities located in Canton, Marietta, and Sandy Springs, with a predictable Tuesday and Thursday schedule.

This independent practice position is well suited for CRNAs seeking consistent weekday work without call responsibilities. The environment is all-CRNA, focused on efficiency, safety, and high-quality regional and general anesthesia care for outpatient orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for outpatient hand and orthopedic procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and monitor patients throughout care
• Administer anesthetic agents and manage airway and physiologic status
• Occasionally perform axillary brachial plexus blocks, with training available
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to anesthesia protocols

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly compensation of $175 per hour
• Daily pay range of approximately $1,400–$1,500
• Eight-hour minimum daily guarantee
• 1099 independent contractor engagement
• Occurrence-based malpractice coverage provided (1M/3M)

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN or part-time availability
• 1–2 days per week
• Primary schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• No call, no weekends, and no evening shifts
• Outpatient surgery center setting
• All-CRNA practice model with full autonomy

Case Mix

• Outpatient hand and orthopedic surgery cases
• Limited pediatric exposure
• No cardiac, obstetric, trauma, or vascular anesthesia
• No chronic pain or acute pain service responsibilities
• Occasional regional anesthesia, primarily axillary blocks

Job Requirements

• Active Georgia CRNA license
• Current NBCRNA certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Comfort working independently in outpatient settings
• Willingness to learn regional techniques if needed
• New graduate consideration negotiable
