Azura Vascular Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care and a national leader in vascular specialty services, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN position in Fairfield, Connecticut. This role offers autonomy, stability, and a balanced lifestyle — no nights, weekends, or call.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia and sedation, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions intraoperatively and during recovery.
• Manage airways, pain control, and post-anesthesia discharge care.
• Participate in patient safety, compliance, and quality initiatives.
• Provide emergency interventions and maintain appropriate documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate: $150–$250 per hour ($1,100–$1,800 per day).
• W-2 employment with Fresenius Medical Care North America.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (COA-approved).
• Current CRNA certification and appropriate Connecticut state licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience preferred (8–12 years related experience ideal).
• Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Work Environment

• Outpatient vascular surgery center — state-of-the-art facility.
• Controlled temperature environment with moderate noise levels.
• Requires frequent standing and occasional lifting of patients or equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• May involve 10–15% travel between facilities or for training.
