PRN CRNA – Outpatient Vascular – $800/day, No Call/Weekends

Job Description

Azura Vascular Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our outpatient surgery center team in Cary, NC. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or call, providing a strong work-life balance in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Select, prepare, and administer anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, and fluids.
• Perform airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, follow-up, and discharge planning.
• Implement acute and chronic pain management techniques, including regional anesthesia.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Active North Carolina CRNA license.
• NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years CRNA experience preferred; 8–12 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong clinical skills, communication abilities, and knowledge of infection control practices.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Daytime, Monday–Friday.
• No on-call, nights, or weekend shifts.
• Outpatient vascular surgery setting.
• Moderate noise level, climate-controlled facility.
• May require standing for extended periods and lifting patients/equipment over 50 lbs.
