PRN CRNA – Outpatient Vascular in El Paso – $800/day, No Call/Weekends

Job Description

Azura Vascular Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our outpatient surgery center in El Paso, TX. This position offers daytime hours with no nights, weekends, or call, providing an excellent work-life balance in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Select, prepare, and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids.
• Perform airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively, maintaining time-based anesthesia records.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, recovery oversight, and discharge planning.
• Implement acute and chronic pain management strategies, including regional anesthesia.
• Respond to emergency situations, ensuring patient stability and safety.

Compensation & Benefits

• $800 per day.
• Daytime schedule, Monday–Friday.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Active Texas CRNA license.
• NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 5+ years CRNA experience preferred; 8–12 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Proficiency in anesthesia equipment and perioperative care.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday, daytime hours.
• Outpatient vascular surgery setting.
• Moderate noise, temperature-controlled facility.
• Requires standing for extended periods and lifting over 50 lbs.
• May require protective gear in procedure rooms.
