PRN CRNA – Outpatient Vascular Surgery at Azura Vascular Care

Job Description

Azura Vascular Care, part of Fresenius Medical Care, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia and pain care services at our outpatient vascular surgery center in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. This role offers a no-call, no-weekend, and no-night schedule in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Select and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and adjust care as needed.
• Manage patient emergence, recovery, and discharge from post-anesthesia care.
• Implement pain management strategies, including regional anesthesia.
• Respond to emergency situations with appropriate airway, cardiovascular, and respiratory interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current licensure in Puerto Rico (or ability to obtain).
• NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 8–12 years related experience preferred; 5 years as a CRNA desired.
• Proficiency with anesthesia equipment and perioperative patient care.

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN, Monday–Friday schedule with no call, nights, or weekends.
• Outpatient vascular surgery center setting.
• Typical healthcare facility environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature.
• Potential exposure to infectious diseases and radiation; protective gear provided.
