PRN CRNA Position – General Surgery & Ortho in Crystal River ($190/hr, No Call)
Job Description
AMS Anesthesia Management Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team in Crystal River, Florida. This opportunity offers excellent autonomy, a collaborative work environment, and a flexible schedule in a busy hospital setting focused on general surgery and orthopedic cases — with no OB responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for general surgery and orthopedic procedures in a hospital setting.
- Provide regional anesthesia as needed and collaborate closely with physicians and OR staff.
- Participate in pre-anesthesia assessments, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia management.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative experience.
- Work alongside a supportive team of anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $190/hr
- Flexible scheduling: 5x8s, 13x12s, or 4x10s available
- No call requirements
- Excellent case mix and opportunity for regional anesthesia experience

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with general and orthopedic anesthesia preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN schedule with 7:00 AM start time
- Flexible shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
- No weekends, nights, or call
- Smaller, busy hospital with efficient OR staff and fast-paced surgeons
