PRN CRNA – Quantum Anesthesia Services, Chicago, IL | $250/hr | Office-Based Dental
Job Description
Quantum Anesthesia Services, a private CRNA group based in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced and independent-minded Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide office-based anesthesia coverage for adult dental, ENT, and facial plastics cases. This is a PRN opportunity with excellent daytime hours and no weekend or evening work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for adult dental/oral surgery, ENT, and facial plastic procedures in an office-based setting.
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and independent anesthesia delivery with strong attention to patient safety.
Compensation & Benefits
- $250/hour with an 8-hour daily minimum (equivalent $2,000–$2,600 per day).
- 1099 independent contractor engagement.
- Malpractice coverage provided.
- Daytime schedule – most cases finish before 3:00 PM.
- No nights, weekends, or call.
Job Requirements
- NBCRNA-certified CRNA.
- Current Illinois CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum 4 years of independent anesthesia experience required.
- Strong experience with nasal intubations and/or dental anesthesia preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Comfortable covering both Chicago city and suburban locations.
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN / per diem scheduling, flexible assignments.
- Office-based anesthesia practice with adult dental, ENT, and plastics cases.
- Independent work environment with supportive CRNA-only team.
