Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a flexible PRN or short-term assignment at Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. This opportunity offers autonomy, competitive pay, and completion bonuses in a no-call, no-trauma environment with a supportive anesthesia team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope anesthesia care for orthopedic, spine, general surgery, gastroenterology, GYN, urology, pain management, and ophthalmology cases.
• Work independently at the top of your license, performing regional and neuraxial blocks as needed.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients through recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a collegial, team-based practice.

Compensation & Schedule

• Position Type: PRN or short-term assignment (up to 3 months)
• Completion Bonus: Offered for 3-month commitments
• Call/Weekends: None
• Case Mix: Ortho, spine, general surgery, GYN, GI/Endo, urology, pain, and ophthalmology
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Malpractice: Paid malpractice with tail coverage

Job Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA
• Active Louisiana CRNA license (or eligibility)
• Proficiency in regional and neuraxial blocks preferred
• Strong communication and independent practice skills
