Southwest Memorial Health in Cortez, Colorado is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join Novus Anesthesia Partners in a fully independent practice environment. This is a definite PRN opportunity offering strong hourly compensation, additional call premiums, and the ability to practice at the top of your license within a supportive and professionally run anesthesia group.

This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position with an hourly rate of $250, translating to daily earnings ranging from $2,000 to $2,500 depending on hours worked and call participation. CRNAs will provide anesthesia care across a broad hospital-based case mix, allowing for clinical variety while maintaining autonomy and clear expectations. There is no medical direction at any time.

The caseload includes ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, oral surgery, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, and urology. This diverse mix offers consistent engagement without overspecialization and is well-suited for CRNAs with solid independent practice experience. Call opportunities are available and compensated at premium rates, providing additional earning potential for those who choose to participate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care across a broad hospital-based case mix
• Manage anesthetic plans from preoperative assessment through recovery
• Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage as scheduled
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and patient records
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control protocols

Compensation & Benefits

• $250 per hour 1099 compensation
• Estimated daily earnings of $2,000–$2,500
• Weekday call: $400 plus $250 per hour
• Weekend call: $1,000 plus $250 per hour
• Malpractice insurance provided

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Colorado license required
• Minimum of two years of clinical anesthesia experience preferred
• Comfort with independent practice and decision-making
• Strong communication and organizational skills
