Job Description
US Anesthesia Partners Colorado is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a PRN 1099 opportunity at AdventHealth Avista in the Louisville/Boulder area of Colorado. Anesthesia Partners Colorado is a clinician-led practice holding an exclusive contract with major health systems in the Denver metro area. This role is ideal for CRNAs who enjoy a diverse case mix and value working alongside a collaborative anesthesia team in a modern hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Participate in orthopedic, OB, neuro, and general surgical cases
- Perform neuraxial techniques including epidurals and spinal anesthesia
- Collaborate within a care team model with anesthesiologist oversight as indicated
- Ensure safe, efficient anesthesia delivery and accurate documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily rate starting at $1,800 per day
- Hourly rate approximately $180 per hour
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Occurrence-based malpractice insurance included (1M/3M)
- Travel and lodging stipends available
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN scheduling with flexibility and potential for up to 30 hours per week
- 10- and 12-hour shifts available
- No call responsibilities
- Medically directed model approximately 70% of the time
- Anesthesiologist and CRNA may both administer induction agents
Case Mix
- Obstetric anesthesia
- Orthopedic surgery
- Neuroanesthesia
- Thoracic and major vascular cases
- Outpatient and inpatient general surgery
- Limited trauma exposure
Job Requirements
- Active Colorado CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Experience with neuraxial anesthesia techniques
- Comfort working in a care team model
