Job Description
United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia is seeking PRN CRNAs to join a hospital-employed anesthesia care team. The role includes a broad range of bread-and-butter surgical services in a modern facility while avoiding high-acuity cases such as hearts, heads, or sick pediatric cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care within a care team model.
- Work across ORs and endoscopy suites as assigned.
- Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia services for routine surgical cases.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff.
Compensation & Schedule
- PRN / OPT scheduling structure.
- Minimum requirement: one 8-hour shift per month.
- Two “bye” months allowed per 12-month period.
- Separate endoscopy-only opportunities may be available.
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a care team model.
Employment Details
- W-2 hospital-employed position.
- 300-bed nonprofit facility within the WVU Medicine system.
- 17 operating rooms and 6 endoscopy suites.
- No hearts, heads, or sick pediatrics.
