PRN Dental Anesthesia CRNA Opportunity in The Villages
Job Description
Lincoln Healthcare is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide IV anesthesia sedation for an established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in The Villages, Florida. This PRN, 1099 opportunity is designed for CRNAs who prefer predictable daytime hours, low daily case volume, and an independent outpatient practice setting.
Coverage is needed for select surgery days in January and February, with the potential for ongoing supplemental coverage as a new oral surgeon joins the practice. The role focuses on dental anesthesia with a steady mix of cosmetic procedures, denture-related surgeries, and medically complex adult patients common to this population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IV anesthesia sedation for oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
- Independently manage airways and anesthesia care in an outpatient setting
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and during recovery
- Collaborate with oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and surgical assistants
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate of $225 with a 6-hour daily guarantee
- PRN, 1099 independent contractor status
- Low daily case volume of 2–3 patients
- Predictable morning schedule with early finishes
- No call, weekends, or overnight responsibilities
Schedule & Work Environment
- Typical schedule Monday through Thursday, with potential Friday coverage
- Day begins at 6:30 a.m.; first case starts at 7:00 a.m.
- Most days conclude between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Fully equipped oral surgery environment with crash cart available
- Supported by two experienced surgical assistants per case
Case Mix
- IV sedation for oral and maxillofacial surgery

- Medically complex adult and elderly patients
Job Requirements
- Active Florida CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS certification; BLS required
- Minimum of one year of IV sedation and airway management experience
- Comfort practicing independently in an outpatient dental setting
