Job Description
Lincoln Healthcare is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide IV anesthesia sedation for an established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Ft. Myers, Florida. This PRN, 1099 opportunity offers exceptional flexibility with self-scheduled per diem shifts and no minimum availability requirements, making it well suited for CRNAs looking to supplement existing work or maintain maximum schedule control.
This role focuses exclusively on outpatient dental anesthesia and IV sedation in a well-organized clinical environment. Coverage is needed on ongoing surgery days for the foreseeable future, providing consistent opportunities without long-term contractual obligations. The practice supports a steady but low daily case volume, allowing CRNAs to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in a calm and efficient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IV anesthesia sedation for oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures
- Independently manage airways and patient monitoring throughout procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and oversee post-anesthesia recovery
- Safely care for patients with a range of medical complexities
- Collaborate closely with oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and surgical assistants
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate ranging from $175 to $210
- Six-hour daily guarantee
- PRN, 1099 independent contractor arrangement
- No call, nights, weekends, or holiday coverage
- Flexible per diem shifts with self-scheduling
Schedule & Work Environment
- Flexible per diem scheduling with no minimum shift commitment
- Typical surgical days run Monday through Thursday
- Predictable morning start times with early afternoon completion
- Six to eight hour shifts
- Low daily volume with approximately two to three cases per day
- Office-based outpatient dental surgery setting
Case Mix

Job Requirements
- Active Florida CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of one year of IV sedation experience
- Strong airway management skills
- Comfort working independently in an outpatient dental setting
- Malpractice liability insurance with minimum coverage of 1M/3M
