PRN Independent CRNA – Outpatient ASCs in Jacksonville
Job Description
Allegiant Anesthesia is seeking an experienced PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for independent outpatient coverage in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is designed for CRNAs looking for flexible, predictable weekday work with full clinical autonomy in an efficient ambulatory surgery center environment. Providers are credentialed at multiple ASCs and scheduled at a single location per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care in ambulatory surgery center settings
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
- Administer and manage anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period
- Ensure safe emergence and post-anesthesia handoff
- Document anesthesia care accurately and thoroughly
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,500 per day
- 1099 independent contractor position
- No call, nights, weekends, or holidays
- Predictable PRN scheduling
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA required)
- Active Florida CRNA license
- Independent practice experience preferred
- Comfortable practicing autonomously in outpatient settings
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN commitment of approximately 2–5 weekdays per month
- Credentialed at three ambulatory surgery centers
- Scheduled at one ASC per day
- Case mix includes plastics, spine, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, and pain
