TX PRN CRNA – Eye Center Day Shifts, $1,600/Day, Learn Eye Blocks
Job Description
Outpatient eye center seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to support high-efficiency ophthalmology days. Ideal for clinicians who enjoy predictable hours and are interested in developing or refining eye block skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide MAC/propofol sedation for ophthalmic cases (cataracts, glaucoma).
- Monitor patients during and after blocks; manage recovery and documentation.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain efficient room turnover.
Compensation & Terms
- $1,600 per day (equivalent to $200/hour with 8-hour guarantee).
- 1099 PRN engagement.
- Most days conclude around 1:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- NBCRNA-certified CRNA with active Texas license (or eligibility).
- Comfort with outpatient ophthalmology workflows; eager to learn eye blocks.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Schedule & Setting
- Daytime PRN shifts; eye cases only.
- Propofol sedation for eye block placement, then monitored anesthesia care.
