Job Description

The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are encouraged to apply. CRNAs are integrated members of the anesthesia care team, working alongside more than 100 CRNAs, 65 anesthesiologists, residents, and anesthesia technicians. The position offers a broad caseload across multiple surgical specialties, including transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery, OB, and cardiac surgeries. CRNAs perform a full range of procedures and are encouraged to explore subspecialty interests.
The position requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month and proof of malpractice insurance for PRN staff. Shifts can be 8, 10, or 12 hours long.

Job Qualifications

Successful completion of a nursing anesthesia program
Certification and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas
Minimum of 2 shifts per month
Proof of malpractice insurance for PRN staff
