Job Description
West Coast Surgery in Palm Desert, California is seeking a PRN CRNA for a high-paying outpatient role focused on orthopedic and spine procedures. This position is ideal for experienced providers who are comfortable working independently in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
CRNAs will provide anesthesia care primarily on Saturdays, offering a flexible schedule with strong daily compensation and no call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for outpatient orthopedic and spine procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Administer anesthesia independently without medical direction
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safe outcomes
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery
- Maintain efficient workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Compensation & Benefits
- $2,000 – $3,000 per day
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Flexible PRN schedule
- No call responsibilities
- Consistent outpatient case volume
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active California license required
- Strong experience with outpatient orthopedics and spine cases
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Reliable and adaptable with a team-oriented attitude
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN position working one to two Saturdays per month
- Outpatient ambulatory surgery center setting
- No call or weekday requirements
- Independent CRNA-only practice model
