CRNA-Only GI Anesthesia Role in Los Angeles – $1,600–$1,800/Day
Job Description
A Los Angeles surgery center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a PRN opportunity in a CRNA-only practice environment. This position focuses exclusively on monitored anesthesia care (MAC) cases for gastrointestinal and cardiac procedures in an outpatient surgical setting.
CRNAs work independently in a fast-paced environment providing anesthesia services without anesthesiologist supervision. The role offers a predictable schedule with no call or weekend requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for GI and cardiac procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans
- Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Manage airway and patient monitoring during procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery monitoring and patient care
- Collaborate with procedural staff in a fast-paced surgery center environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily compensation ranging from $1,600 to $1,800
- 1099 independent contractor opportunity
- Flexible PRN scheduling
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active California license required
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient setting
- New graduates considered if qualifications are met
