Independent CRNA – CRNA-Only Practice at Seton Highland Lake Hospital in Burnet

Job Description

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a flexible PRN position at Seton Highland Lake Hospital in Burnet, Texas. This CRNA-only facility provides the opportunity to practice independently across a diverse range of cases with an exceptional work-life balance and proximity to Austin.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia services across general, orthopedic, urology, GI, cosmetic, GYN, and ENT cases.
• Perform and manage regional, ultrasound-guided, and peripheral nerve blocks (training available if needed).
• Collaborate with a small team of CRNAs to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality anesthesia care.
• Participate in shared call rotation and maintain detailed patient records.

Compensation & Schedule

• Annual Compensation: $270,000 (1099)
• Schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
• Time Off: 17 weeks off per year
• Call Schedule: 1:2 rotation
• Practice Model: CRNA-only, 2 CRNAs on-site daily
• Malpractice: Paid malpractice with tail coverage

Job Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA
• Active Texas CRNA license (or eligibility)
• Proficiency in regional and ultrasound-guided blocks preferred (training available)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
