Job Description
Lincoln Healthcare is seeking PRN CRNAs for outpatient dental anesthesia throughout the Greater Houston, Texas area. This position offers unmatched work–life balance with short days, low-volume schedules, and full independent practice in a modern dental surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for outpatient dental and oral/maxillofacial procedures
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments
- Independently administer IV sedation (propofol, fentanyl, midazolam, ketamine)
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain airway safety throughout procedures
- Oversee safe emergence and post-anesthesia recovery
- Collaborate with dental surgeons and clinical staff to support smooth case flow
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Up to $225 per hour
- 4–6 hour days with a 6-hour daily guarantee
- Low case volume of 2–3 patients per day
- Modern, fully equipped dental surgical facilities
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
- Strong proficiency with IV sedation and airway management
- Active Texas APRN license with CRNA designation
- Current NBCRNA, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Experience in dental anesthesia or oral/maxillofacial surgery preferred
- Ability to carry malpractice insurance with minimum $1M/$3M limits
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday–Thursday schedule
- 6-hour days (guaranteed minimum)
- No call, no nights, no weekends
- Relaxed, supportive outpatient setting
