Job Description
San Joaquin General Hospital is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a collaborative care team at a busy trauma hospital in the Stockton / French Camp area of California. This is a 1099 position offering competitive hourly compensation with highly flexible scheduling options, including day, night, weekday, and weekend shifts.
CRNAs may choose from 8-, 10-, 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts, with scheduling options such as one week on / one week off or two weeks on / two weeks off. This opportunity is well-suited for CRNAs seeking variety, autonomy within a care team model, and the ability to tailor their work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care as part of a care team model
- Manage a diverse surgical case mix in a trauma hospital setting
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia services across multiple specialties
- Participate in day, night, weekday, and weekend coverage as scheduled
Compensation & Position Details
- $180 per hour
- Daily compensation range: $1,200 – $3,600
- 1099 independent contractor status
- PRN position with highly flexible scheduling
Job Requirements
- Active CRNA certification
- Eligibility for California licensure
- Ability to work in a care team model
- Comfort with trauma and varied surgical cases
Schedule & Case Mix
- Shift lengths: 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24 hours
- Day and night shifts available
- Case types include Trauma, GYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neuro, ENT
- Minimal vascular cases
- Minimal healthy pediatrics
- No cardiac cases
