Job Description

PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, Iowa. This role offers a fully autonomous practice environment with a positive, collaborative culture. CRNAs will manage a diverse case mix while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care independently across a broad spectrum of surgical specialties.
• Caseload includes ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Urology.
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques (preferred).
• Ensure safe, evidence-based anesthesia delivery and patient recovery.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and credentialing requirements.

Compensation & Terms

• Pay: $250/hour ($2,000–$2,500 per day).
• Independent practice setting.
• Malpractice coverage included through Novus.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA-certified CRNA.
• Active Iowa CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Two or more years of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Comfortable practicing independently; strong regional block skills preferred.
• Excellent communication and decision-making ability.
